The Redwoods

It’s Holy Week! To celebrate the long weekend, my housemates and I decided to go on roadtrip. We went to a lot of places and I’ve taken around 500 photos.😭 So instead of making a really long post, I’ve decided to make several posts so that it’s less tiring for me.😉 haha.

Part 4: The Redwoods

If you find yourself driving to Rotorua, then you should definitely stop by this place! It’s absolutely magical!

While walking through this magical forest, I can imagine Bella from Twilight calling out Edward’s name after he left her. That’s what all boys are good at… leaving.😔😔😔 (HUGOT alert! 😂)

We only had 20 minutes to take pictures here so we were not able to do the activities in this place. But if you’re interested, you can check their website for details: https://redwoods.co.nz

Stay tuned for more long weekend posts!!!

Mount Maunganui

PART 3: Mount Maunganui

So to start off the long weekend we drove out of Auckland to climb Mt. Maunganui!

Mt. Maunganui, which is located in Tauranga, is a 230+ km away from Avondale, which is where I currently live. It usually takes around 2-3 hours to get there but because of the heavy traffic, it took us around 4 hours.

It was all worth it though! The view was absolutely amazing! It’s a 20-30 min climb to the top.

Instead of making a long post about it, l’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.😉

Part 3 of our long weekend adventure ends here.😂 Stay tuned for more long weekend posts!🙌🏼

Blue Spring

It’s Holy Week! To celebrate the long weekend, my housemates and I decided to go on roadtrip. We went to a lot of places and I’ve taken around 500 photos.😭 So instead of making a really long post, I’ve decided to make several posts so that it’s less tiring for me.😉 haha.

Part 2: Blue Spring

On our way to Hamilton, we decided to stop by Blue Spring.

Blue Spring is located at Leslie Road, South Waikato. Up until a few years ago, this little gem was not made known to the public. It’s water is said to be so pure that it supplies 60% of New Zealand’s bottled water!

It takes about 10-15 minutes to get there from the parking area. The walk is pretty easy but if you’re as unfit as me then you’ll probably be catching your breath by the time you get there.😅 No shame though. Haha

I don’t know how many times I’ve said this in my blog but, when we reached Blue Springs, it was absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the hike!😱

This place is definitely a must-see! It’s only an hour drive from Hamilton. There are fewer tourists here so you’re sure to get really great photos! ❤️

Journey to Middle Earth?

It’s Holy Week! To celebrate the long weekend, my housemates and I decided to go on roadtrip. We went to a lot of places and I’ve taken around 500 photos.😭 So instead of making a really long post, I’ve decided to make several posts so that it’s less tiring for me.😉 haha.

Part 1: Journey to Middle Earth?😉

New Zealand is well-known for a lot of things. But if you’re a movie junkie like me, then you probably know that New Zealand is where they shot the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies.

My friends and I were driving towards Rotorua and we passed by Matamata. It’s 2 hours away from Auckland, but it’s more popularly known as the home of the Shire.

Since we were there anyway…

APRIL FOOLS! 😂

Visiting Hobbiton costs around 80nzd and we weren’t keen on spending that much for something that we’d most likely be spending an hour max on. We had to go to other places as well. 😂

Sorry guys. Will definitely post my Hobbiton adventure soon. If and when I get the money and time for it at least.😂

Instead if actually going to Hobbiton, we visited Matamata’s iSITE.

It’s an information center where you can buy heaps of LOTR merchandise and other souvenirs.

I planned on only mentioning this on one of my other long weekend posts but in the spirit of April Fools, I decided on dedicating a whole blog on my Matamata Adventure!😂

Happy April Fools everyone!

Stay tuned for more long weekend posts.❤️

Journal Entry Log: Gelo’s Graduation

March 9, 2018. Angelo’s Graduation.❤️

So proud of you bro! I call him bro now ’cause someone thought I was his sister.😅

Right after the ceremony, we went out to buy food and celebrated at Gelo’s new place in Henderson. Was able to eat the closest thing New Zealand has to Jollibee’s Chicken Joy. It was from Pacifica(o) Takeaways. We met new friends.❤️

And we took a lot of photos.❤️

My three bodyguards.😂

Drove Gelo and Eli home today. Achievement Unlocked.🙌🏼

It was a good day.❤️

FALL OUT BOY!❤️❤️❤️

After months and months of waiting, the day of the FALL OUT BOY concert finally arrived!!! My friend Kenny bought my ticket last November 2017. I have been waiting for 4 freaking months for this day! It was WORTH THE WAIT.

I arrived at the Trust Arena in Henderson at around 6:30. The concert wasn’t until 7:30. I planned to go there at 4:30 but my friends invited me out for Linner (Lunch + Dinner).

Bad bad mistake.

It took me around 25 mins to drive there and I had a hard time looking for a parking spot. I finally found one which was far from the arena but it was okay ’cause I didn’t have to pay for parking.

When I got to the venue, the line was FREAKING LONG.

I swear, I was standing in line from 6:30 to 7:45, and had to stand in another line for about 30 mins  because I was bringing a bag and had to leave it in their office.😭

The place was jam-packed! I usually hate crowds but when the band started playing…. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

No words can describe the feeling of seeing your favourite band in the world!

Sorry the video’s facing the other way.😅 don’t know how to edit it.😂

Decided to post this because it’s my favourite FOB song ❤

I have more videos on Instagram so… *cough* *cough* @margarettperaltaptrp (shameless self promo haha)

It was even better than I expected! Fall Out Boy has been my favourite band since highschool and I’ve always dreamed of one day watching them play in a live concert. So happy that I was finally able to see them!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Definitely THE BEST NIGHT EVER!!!!

Auckland’s Lantern Light Festival

So right after our foodventure yesterday, we went to another event in Auckland. The Lantern Light Festival!

Not gonna lie, I was expecting the Tangled lantern thing and was singing “And at last I see the light…” while walking to the event. I’m not even sure if that’s the correct lyric to the song but it was the song Rapunzel sang with Flynn Ryder!

But when whole festival was not like that at all! It was still amazing though. Here are some of the photos I took that day.

There are still a lot of lanterns in the festival but it started to rain so we decided to call it a night. ❤

Thursdate.❤️

For the past few days, I’ve been holed up in my room watching series and eating. Today, I gathered up enough strength to pull myself out of bed and actually be productive with my life. So, I decided to take myself out on a date. Read More
